In 2012, GDF Directors conceptualized the first comprehensive American “brick and mortar” university in Mexico, with first phase operations begun in 2017. To date, <$100 m USD has been invested to enable jointly validated degrees in engineering, business, management, computer science, technology and mathematics.
GDF is currently evaluating and facilitating the required partnerships for success in other LATAM sites including two in Mexico (with San Luis Potosi the most advanced) and Peru.
GDF’s goal is to export higher education to students in LATAM based on American and internationally accepted higher standards of rigor, competitiveness and mobility.
The LATAM site campuses will offer more than sixty undergraduate and masters programs, providing local access to global valued higher education.
The primary principle of GDF developed university campuses is serving students with the most qualified faculty and best learning experience possible.
By localizing high quality, high value, globally competitive higher education, GDF campuses remove the geographical, financial, regulatory, social and cultural barriers and transforms lives and communities.
Spillover impacts on adult learners and regional economic dynamics are evident.
